    Dear Mr. Truex,

I just posted a message to the Class of ’73 site, but thought I’d reach out to you here as well. I am trying to find some information about a class project that happened at your school in 1970 which involved the building of a small 9-foot long fiberglass dinghy. This dinghy was instrumental in later saving the lives of the Robertson family after they were shipwrecked in 1972. This story that has been documented in two very popular books, “Survive the Savage Sea” and “The Last Voyage of the Lucette.” I am a professor of visual art at New York University doing research on this story and I am very eager to get in touch with anyone who might have been part of building this boat, or who might remember the project or the name of the teacher. I’d be very grateful if you’d PM me with any leads! Thank you!
